The Boone County Human Services Department oversees and monitors the distribution of Payroll Tax funds that support mental health, intellectual disability and aging services provided by a broad range of community partners. By working with these community partners, the Department strives to increase self-sufficiency, encourage personal growth and responsibility, and help resolve crisis situations of eligible Boone County residents.
