Christmas Treecycling
Treecycling will begin on Dec 26th and be open through Jan 15th.
Currently the only drop off location is Camp Ernst Lake Boat Ramp at Camp Ernst Park, 7615 Camp Ernst Rd, Burlington, KY 41005.

Holiday Lights Recycling
Bring your broken holiday string lights to us! All kinds of string lights are accepted, including traditional and LED-style bulbs. Please remove any boxes and bags.

Non-profits are #keepingBooneCountyclean by cleaning up roadsides in TFC fundraisers. Applications are accepted beginning March 1st.

Join us, Boone County Conservation District, and Boone County Parks for a litter cleanup in Gunpowder Creek! We will be volunteering in Gunpowder Creek Nature Park/Sperti Park, where lots of surrounding residential trash ends up in the stream (especially after a storm). Be sure to wear shoes that can get wet and dress for the weather. We suggest also bringing a fishing pole for afterwards, as this is a premium spot for fishing!

Volunteer for the Annual River Sweep in Boone County! This fun outdoor program gets hundreds of people involved and volunteering out in the community to clean up the Ohio River and its tributaries. FREE t-shirts are provided and a raffle will be available at each site. Partnered with the Boone County Conservation District and City of Florence.

FREE disposal of the following tire types: Passenger, Bicycle, Small Trailer. Please remove tires from rims.
We cannot accept the following tires: foam-filled, calcium-filled, over-the-road, solid tires with/without press on rim, tires with bead greater than 1.75", tracks, or sheet rubber.
You must be a Boone County resident to participate. No businesses, scrap yards, recycling centers, or tire retailers.

FREE disposal of the following items: aerosol cans, antifreeze, batteries, corrosives/flammables (fuel, gasoline, etc.), electronics (computers, monitors, printers, cell phones, etc.), ink/toner cartridges, light bulbs, oil, paint **10 can limit**, pesticides **2 gallons/liquid max or 2lbs/powder max**, cylinders and tanks, TVs **limit of 2 per vehicle**.
We cannot accept appliances, fertilizer, mercury-containing devices, medications, or tires at this event. PAPER IS NO LONGER ACCEPTED.

Please know that this event attracts A LOT of people - last year we had almost 3,000 cars! Expect a wait.
