The Boone County Jail Community Service Program is a rehabilitation program designed for minimum security non-violent inmates. These inmates are taught the American work ethic. Through the program inmates are instructed that it is their responsibility to repay the community for the crimes they committed. The Boone County Community Service Program provides thousands of dollars of free labor to the citizens of Boone County. The program provides numerous services including mowing grass at city and county properties, trash removal along county roadways and several projects throughout the year.
