County Administrator Jeff Earlywine Announces Retirement

After seventeen years of service to Boone County, Jeff Earlywine announced that he plans to retire at the end of July, capping a forty one-year career in public service.  At last month's Fiscal Court meeting, Jeff waited patiently until all matters of the court including all items on the agenda had been processed, motioned, and voted on before reading from a prepared letter that expressed his intent to retire.  In his statement, he highlighted his gratefulness to all of his fellow colleagues and elected officials that he has worked with throughout his career. Although Boone County has had a lot of successes under Jeff's tenure, he closed his statement by saying that he believed Boone County's best days are still ahead and encouraged everyone towards that point by saying "...keep going."
