CORONAVIRUS (COVID 19) INFORMATION AND RESOURCES

Gary Moore St. E.
Boone County is taking a number of steps to provide accurate and timely information to citizens regarding the Corona virus outbreak and how the County government is responding.  A State of Emergency was declared in 2020 in Boone County in order to activate the County Emergency Operations Plan and to allow for efficient procurement and resource allocation in providing all necessary tools in providing government services.  Since that time, County Administration has worked with the NKY Health Department, Emergency Management, state government, our schools, local businesses and others to provide timely information and direct resources where they can be of the most help to our citizens. Everyone is encouraged to follow all Health Department and CDC guidelines to help prevent contracting or spreading the virus. This site provides links to resources at the Federal, state and local levels. The site will be updated as appropriate with the latest updates.

Boone County Government has remained open and working throughout the pandemic and since June of 2020 all departments and operations have been open and operating normally. I am committed to maintaining the highest level of service and keeping Boone County open for business as we work together to do so safely.
